My research focuses on Turkic linguistics, with particular emphasis on Kipchak Turkic languages, especially Tatar, Kazakh, and Bashkir. I am interested in linguistic structure, variation, and the interaction between language systems and multilingual environments.

Turkic Linguistics
Structural and descriptive research on Turkic languages, with a particular focus on Kipchak Turkic.
Tatar and Mishar Tatar
A central area of my research is Tatar, especially Mishar Tatar, including questions of phonology, syntax, and linguistic variation.
Kazakh and Bashkir
My work also includes research and reference contributions on Kazakh and Bashkir.
Phonetics and Phonology
My interests include vowel systems, palatalization, and phonological variation in Turkic languages.
Syntax
I have worked on syntactic structures in Mishar Tatar and related questions in Turkic linguistics.
Language Contact
I am interested in the effects of multilingualism and language contact on Turkic languages, particularly in Central Asian and Volga-Ural contexts.
Language Policy and Orthography
Another area of interest is language standardization, orthography, and language policy, especially with regard to Tatar and Kazakh.
